CH Aux Lake Jessie Jones JH NA-II

Jessie was everything a Griff should be.  We are trying to learn to live without her, having lost her suddenly to pyometra  just before Christmas of 2019.   She was an amazing hunter with a tremendous wire coat.  She had a sweet temperament, a sense of humor, and was a great dog to come home to.

We knew almost nothing about training versatile dogs or about dog shows when we brought Jessie home.  She managed to earn an NA Prize II, an AKC championship and an AKC Junior Hunter title while being handled for the most part by her inexperienced owners.  Jessie succeeded in spite of us.

Jessie's dam, Aux Lake Astral, was a NAVHDA Versatile Champion.  Jessie's sire was Wayfarer's Dbl "D."  Jessie was part of the Aux Lake "J" litter, which earned a NAVHDA breeder's award.

Jessie was our first Aux Lake dog, and through her, we began our association with her breeders and our mentors, Larry and Paula Woodward.
